Don't Lose or Forget Your Trailer Lock

I kept laying my trailer lock in the boat when I came home and disconnected it. The next trip, I would be out on the water, look down and see the lock still in the boat. Left the trailer unlocked again!. My Triton came with a cable for the little pin that should be used when you trailer without a lock That seemed to me to be too small to remind me of the lock, but worked fine to dangle the big lock where I couldn't miss it. If your trailer doesn't already have a pin holder, you need to get a small steel cable and cable clamps to do the same thing. I used a small wire to tighten up the cable end to the lock.
