These University of Florida Bass Team members were thrown violently from their boat after blast-off when a steering component failed at 57 mph. Luckily, it occurred during an FLW event, and both were wearing PFDs and the boater had his kill switch attached. Amazingly, no one was injured. Remember, accidents aren't predictable, and it can happen just that fast! At Leesville BASSMaster's January meeting, Tournament Director Jim Simons laid out the tournament schedule for the 2017 season. Starting at Shearon-Harris Lake in early March and finishing up at Kerr Lake in early November, this year's tour fishes a variety of waters throughout North Carolina including High Rock, Lake Gaston, Randelman, Falls Lake, and Buckhorn.
